Is database username case sensitive?

If I define a user as 'foo' in a database, are 'Foo','FOO' and other f,o,o
conbinations all the same user?

as far as I know, If you selected a case-sensitive sort order when you
installed SQL Server, your login ID is also case-sensitive.
