Is the before & after size, autogrow start & complete time , or any other
info related to auto-growing of datafiles recorded in an error log / event /
sql log / anywhere?

You can detect an auto grow op in Profiler under Database - Data Auto
Grow /Shrink and Log Auto Grow / Shrink.
